When I was doing window display at Macy’s in the late 70s, one of my co-workers, a woman named Coco, had this tattooed in her ankle.
Oh, that signature of Durer’s.
When the peacocks are quiet–when you can just about forget the way their blood-curdling screeching had kept you awake for nights on end in springtime… mating season… catching sight of them when they’re quiet is quite a splendid sight.
And speaking of their “golden voices” (NOT!) Brooks sent this video about a species of bird of paradise in New Guinea…. just wow!
